This is the day
My   Friend  passed away
July 18, 2008
He entered the Pearly Gates
My heart yearns for
Some words to say
But I come up empty
I need to say
What he really meant to me
This quiet man
Who every day,
Would pray and
Talk to the Lord
Telling HIM,
I want to come
Your way
And with you
For eternity stay
And it has been done
Friend's race is run
This is the day
My friend passed away
July 18, 2008
So, this day
I celebrate and
Pray
That we will join together
Again, someday
